Colbert Nails Racist Byron York
These are tough times for straight white men. You're more likely to find a white guy on the endangered species list than on Barack Obama's Supreme Court short-list. And now The Washington Examiner's Byron York has revealed that they're actually letting black people contribute to opinion polls. When will the white man catch a break?

The insight into how race is perceived in America had nothing to do with the segments themselves but rather the audience's reaction to them. I like how during the Examiner racism segment the audience was hesitant to laugh (because it's about black people), while the segment about the Chinese cigarettes they cracked up just hearing the name of the Chinese city, and actually felt moved enough to clap about the joke about Chinese air quality (because it's just Asians!).
Byron York, what a dickhead. He and his editor should both be fired for racism. Usually I perceive "the black community" to be a little whiny about media smart alecks, (I missssss Imus, even though he irritated me, that new joe shmo with the tiny eyes, yuck, won't watch him) but this piece in the Examiner is really bad, what, black people don't count? I thought all people count, in theory at least and in general public protocol..
