I really don't know whose interests Prejean serving more during all this nonsense: the anti-gay marriage camp, as its first official long-suffering martyr; or the pro-gay marriage camp, as a dumb-as-rocks face of religiously-motivated lock-step intolerance.
All I really do know is that I hate Perez Hilton even more now for having elevated this moron into the upper-echelon of ring-wing thinkers, alongside such luminaries as Joe the Plumber, Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck.

Olbermann proves Prejean's point at the exact same moment – quite a number of moments, in fact – that he denies it. How was she punished? When the police carry out "fishing expeditions" against citizens, any
evidence they find is declared inadmissible in court. This is designed to dissuade them from harassing the public. The publication of these
photos appears to be the result of a fishing expedition.
So Prejean was not harassed by the state. That does not mean that the treatment she received was not vindictive and morally, if not constitutionally, reprehensible. (And since when did Liberals become strict constructionists?) She was asked a political question at a beauty pageant, and, for giving the "wrong" answer, others sought to deprive her of her livelihood.
