Colbert Announces Coke Party Protest
You know, maybe a soda tax is a good idea, because if it pisses people off, they'll protest by throwing soda into the Boston Harbor. And then all the fish will drink the soda and get fat, and fatty fish is really good for you. Obesity epidemic solved.

Soda Tax? What's next? Anything not taken in moderation can be bad for you.
Does government want to tax soap next if they think it might be related to skin diseases? How about music if they think it might lead to hearing loss? Or pet ownership if it leads to allergies?
This ridiculous proposal is just an attempt to ignite Americans passion for the pursuit of health, hoping that that passion will blind you to the fact that once again, you are being lied to. They don't give a damn about your health. In fact the thinking of government is that if a person outlives his ability to earn a taxable living, then that person has outlived his usefulness on Earth. (outrageous cost of medicine for the elderly).
Hey, here's an idea. Why not get rid of all the ILLEGAL aliens and all the freebies provided to them by………Who???? That's right…………the government. Where does that money come from? Yes, your pocket. I don't know about you, but I am tired of having my pocked picked.

Why not tax ppl by their BMI? I work out and should be allowed to drink a soda tax free.
Loved this bit from this episode – especially loved the can of sierra mist utilized heavily throughout. I am a big soda drinker… maybe this will be enough to quit.
