Two very recent quotes from the former president and vice-president…
"Terrorists may lack much, but they have never lacked for grievances against the United States… the terrorists see just what they were hoping for — our unity gone, our resolve shaken, our leaders distracted. In short, they see weakness and opportunity." – Dick Cheney
and…
"And there I was, former president of the United States, with a plastic bag on my hand… Life is returning back to normal." – George W. Bush
I wonder which one of those two had more of an influence on the timbre of political rhetoric for the past eight years.

The Bush administration Torture 13: They authorized it, they decided how to implement it, they crafted the legal fig leaf to justify it, and now they are running to cover their rears!!
IF Dick Cheney thinks everyone we are less safe and that the terrorists believe that….why is he letting them know "our unity gone, our resolve shaken, our leaders distracted. In short, they see weakness and opportunity".
He and his daughter spread mis-truths and fear. John McCain, Jesse Ventura, and our soldiers know that water boarding is torture. Do Dick and Liz have a clue what tools are brought to the torture session? These tools will perform a trach, if things happen to go wrong. How can you say that is not torture???
