And then when this is a distant memory, coming back to Dems and saying "hey! We were totally nice and accommodating and bipartisan on the Sotomayor appointment, you should play ball with us! By which mean, bend over for one of our crackpot ideas! It's only fair!!!" And the thing is, they could be trying for a resolution declaring a Kick Puppies Day and there are Dems who'd treat that as actually fair.
