Commenting on a report posted to Facebook about a gorilla escape at a zoo in Columbia, S.C., Friday, longtime GOP activist Rusty DePass wrote, "I'm sure it's just one of Michelle's ancestors – probably harmless."
Get it??? Because Michelle Obama, who is black, believes in evolution! (No, seriously, that was DePass's pathetic excuse when he got caught.) Maybe what I mean is, Republicans + Words in Any Medium = Fail.

Eric Davis, the current chairman of the Richland County Republicans, said his predecessor should get a pass. "Everyone says stupid things they regret later. I think the world should move on," he said.

Reading it as a joke it is pretty funny but I don't understand why he has to cover it up just say it was a racist joke.
Who could find that offensive? I'm sure he's said the same about Barbara Bush many times.
I am disgusted that a so called educated civil servant could utter such drivel! Michelle Obama has much more on the ball and much more love in her life that this idiot! Perhaps we should put a hood on his head and label him a KlansMan! It would suit his views that anyone who isn't white is a threat to our society. Sorry, I don't find this humorous at all.
