Jon Stewart's Unedited Interview with Mike Huckabee

POSTED BY: Matt Tobey

If last night's Daily Show left you wanting more Mike Huckabee, you should check out some old pictures of that dude. Talk about more Mike Huckabee. But you should also watch the extended and unedited version of Jon Stewart's interview with the former Arkansas Governor.

More after the jump.

The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11pm / 10c.

  1. Hi, sure it was a good effort to find common ground on a polarized issue but JS can do better. The real response to MH's claims to care about every living life is to talk about healthcare for all (don't forget the recent hassle about the Children's Health Insurance Plan), paid family leave for all parents of newborns (to the European standard of 6 mos to a year, not this 12 wks or less ridiculousness here in the US), affordable & quality daycare, and good public schools. I'm surprised that JS didn't bring that up. Maybe it's in the un-edited clips but really I can't stomach it enough to bother finding out. JS!

  2. no, not in the unedited clips. the other responses to "all life is sacred" are death penalty and Iraq war.

  3. Man, I'll bet John is really regretting bringing up the "rape to avoid murder" scenario. Let's deal with one morally ambiguous issue at a time.

  4. I'm suprised JS didn't touch on exceptions, like with rape or incest. Most Anti-abortionists allow for such exceptions, but falter when it comes to how much of a trial you put a rape victim through to prove it was rape etc, and whether or not she would be forced to carry the rapists child to term against her will if she fails to prove beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law that it was forcible rape.

Without laws that effectively put the victim on trial as a defendant, any woman would just be able to say "yeah, sure, I was raped" to get around any anti-abortion legislation they force into law.
