Mark Sanford Admits to Extra-Marital Affair with Non-American

A choked-up South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford issued a raw apology to his wife, family, staff, friends, in-laws, people of faith, and South Carolinians for "creating a fiction with regard to where I was going" and cheating on his wife…
"I've been unfaithful to my wife. I've developed a relationship with what started out as a dear dear friend from Argentina."
Sanford said he and his wife had been "working through this thing" for some five months, and that she'd been aware of the affair.
I guess this revelation isn't a huge surprise to anyone.
You know, though. When I heard that Sanford had "spent the last couple days in Argentina," I was convinced that we were gonna find out that "Argentina" was a 22-year-old male model down in Myrtle Beach.
I actually thought he conducted himself well during the press conference, and I feel bad for the guy. I mean, we all fall in love with someone or other's Argentinian mom from time to time. It just happens.
