Let's All Read Mark Sanford's Bosom-Heaving Emails
I knew this would get out sooner or later, but it seems the scrappy newshounds at The State — now, officially, South Carolina's sexiest paper — have had their mitts on Mark Sanford's amorous emails since December.
And this morning they've splayed Sanford's most intimate thoughts and feelings on the bearskin rug of the internet, so we may gawk at every crevice…
Two, mutual feelings. I have been specializing in staying focused on decisions and actions of the head for a long time now — and you have my heart. You have oh so many attributes that pulls it in this direction. Do you really comprehend how beautiful your smile is? Have you been told lately how warm your eyes are and how they softly glow with the special nature of your soul. [...]
You have a particular grace and calm that I adore. You have a level of sophistication that is so fitting with your beauty. I could digress and say that you have the ability to give magnificently gentle kisses, or that I love your tan lines or that I love the curves of your hips, the erotic beauty of you holding yourself (or two magnificent parts of yourself) in the faded glow of night’s light…
It's absolutely appalling.
He got someone to fall for him with that tripe?

@bearness: Actually some of the emails came from his personal address, according to the newspaper.
Part of me wonders if his wife leaked 'em to the press.
This is why politicians should not be allowed to use computers without some kind of supervision.
I thought glowing eyes was a sign of demon possession. I guess that’s what I get for watching liberal Hollywood movies.
BTW, you know if the newspaper has gotten its hands on the emails this fast, its likely that these were being sent from his government email address. Got to love FOIA.
