South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint, best known for his grotesque face, has joined fellow Republicans Bobby Jindal and Michael Steele in the health care fray. But he's doing it in his own DeMinted style…

In recent days, DeMint implored Republicans to defeat Obama's reform efforts saying if they are successful, it will be Obama’s "Waterloo" — and that it "will break him," referring to Obama.

Obama on Monday said, "This isn't about me. This isn't about politics. This is about a health care system that is breaking America's families, breaking America's businesses, and breaking America's economy."

Mmmm, yes, excellent. Everything is going according to Jim DeMint's plan…

"I think he played right into my hands," DeMint told Neil Cavuto on Fox News this afternoon, adding that Obama's frequent appearances over the last several days show a level of desperation. "Any time the president of the United States goes after a freshman senator, he's losing his grip a little bit."

Whereas a freshman senator who compared the United States to Nazi Germany and now thinks he is manipulating the president's brain is not losing his grip at all. AT ALL. AT ALL. AT ALL. AT ALL.
