If you're like me, you woke up this morning to find the sun rising in the west against a green sky, you got out of your bed on the ceiling, took a fresh breath of carbon dioxide, thought about how repulsive puppies are and said to yourself, Glenn Beck is not at all a hypocritical lunatic. But if you don't live in Oppositeville, you woke up and saw this.

I remember when GB went through the ordeal at the hospital after his operation and caught some of the shows that came after. Stewart is really taking the short clips way way way out of context. Beck may use the term "healthcare system" in one of the clips but if you listened to all the things he said about the ordeal he was very obviously speaking about individuals within the system "not caring" about the patients they treat. and Beck has often said there is room for improvement even recently.
As far as people who think stewart is more popular tan Beck (or anything on the comedy channel compared to fox news channel) try looking at the ratings. Just do a little research. Even the huff post will tell you the FNC is at number 2 only beat by usa network. Yet i read from posts of insulting people like robert lewis that only mormons and child molesters watch fox news. real smart guy there.
Do you know any Mormons? Throw out all your good thoughts and know that Glenn Beck is a Mormon. I am not about to excuse his craziness but you must consider the following:
Please tell me who, outside of other Mormon's doesn't think magic underwear is not kooky? Why do you think they downplay this aspect of their beliefs to the point that most people know nothing about it?
These people deserve all the ridicule that can be heaped on them. Or we could point out that their prophet, Joseph Smith, got his revelation from a white lizard that gave him a pair of magical glasses that allowed him to translate the Book of Mormon. From gold tablets he dug up. Yeah, and I've got a bridge for sale.
These people are members of one of the most ridiculous cults ever devised. If they had not succeeded in convincing others that they are still somehow Christians they'd have been ridiculed into obscurity long ago. Why we owe them a pass on their childish fantasies is beyond me.

Being offended isn't a one-way street. If you wish to believe the "Garden of Eden" was near present day Independence, Missouri, go for it. If you wish to ignore the hatred of the Mormon Church for blacks until recently, that's fine. If you wish to believe Jesus came to these shores & lived among the Native Americans after his crucifixtion, OK. If you wish to ignore the Smith family being run out of Western New York communities for fraulent activities, just say that's not true. Joseph Smith wrote in a letter that he wished his son to take the leadership of the church after his death. Young & the Nauvoo, Illinois, city fathers ignored it and took control of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Interestingly, the Reformed Church owns the property Smith is buried on. Open a search window and type in "The Expositor". You can read the 1844 Nauvoo newspaper that published one-edition. Smith had the paper destroyed immediately. This would lead to his arrest & then murder by a mob in Carthage, Illinois. I wrote my historical thesis on Smith's stay in Nauvoo, Illinois. Though I believe Smith was a life-long charlatan, a visit to the rebuilt 1840's era Nauvoo is well worth one's time.
As a Danish/European citizen, I'm stunned and quite frankly shocked concerning the allegations and level of thinking from Fox/GOP and what appears to be about 50% of the American people. As a small country neighboring Germany, WW2 history is a part of our common educational curriculum. Comparing Obama's plans to Hitler and his regime is downright stupid and ignorant. In fact FOX news methods are very similar to Goebbel's. Instill hate by accusing the opposition of wanting to demolish democracy. Manipulate the publics feelings through lies and ignore unpleasant facts. Divide and conquer. Wake up for God's sake and start thinking for yourselves.
We have universal health care/hospitals combined with private insurance/hospitals. This insures that anyone regardless of class and income receives the proper medical care if needed. If we need surgery it will be provided for us free of charge. Instead of bringing our credit cards to the hospital, we bring our medical care cards. In the public hospitals it doesn't matter whether you're an unemployed homeless alcoholic or a famous actor. Our lives are regarded as equally valuable. There are no "deathpanels", and there are no euthanasia programs. If you can afford it you are more than welcome to have a private insurance company take care of your medical needs. In fact a approximately 1/3 of Danish citizens have a private medical insurance through their jobs, but most people still prefer to use the public hospitals simply because of the medical expertise. This is not a flawless system, no system is, but it is without a doubt preferable to a free-market system, where the size of your wallet determines the quality of treatment.
And for the love of God people, we are not communists! Communism is long gone and buried six feet under!

and at the end of the conversation she does what so many republicans do and falsely stated that most people in great britian don't like their healthcare compared to the USA.
i wish the media (YOU) would call these politicians out when they
disinform the public, so people are not confused about the facts
when deciding an important issue.

Why is no when mentioning the fact that Fox appears to be the hand of a foreign governement determined to cause disharmony in our country. All of their commentators are in essence agents of a foreign govenment formenting a revolution in this country.

Interesting that Fox has reported several news stories that have not been reported within the mainstream media agencies like NBC, ABC, or CBS. I have noticed that those 3 always report the same news stories. No wonder their ratings are in the tank.
In fact when ABC reported directly from the white house on healthcare there was never an opposing view issued. Just what is the definition of Communism?

but do most understand our country is in real trouble and blaming others will not solve it- and neither can throwing money at our problems.
All I've seen our leaders do is spend our money. Unemployment is up to 9.4% even though we were told it would never go over 8% if the 700 Billion dollar bail out was passed. People want answers- and none are being given. Instead our leaders are attacking their own citizens character simply because they are registered to vote with another party other than theirs!? In order to take the focus off of their corruption I presume…
