Carrie Prejean Suing Her Way Back into the Spotlight
You know who really has it bad in the country these days? The Christians. Why, they've got to be one of the most discriminated-against majorities in America. Next to the homophobes, obviously. (Nobody is discriminated against worse than the homophobes.)
Thankfully, somebody's finally showing the guts to deliver, in one fell swoop, a blow against both Big Atheism and Big Homosexuality…
Former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean (pray-ZHAHN') has sued pageant officials for libel, slander and religious discrimination…
Prejean was fired in June by pageant officials, who cited missed scheduled appearances. Prejean's attorney says that's not true and his client was ousted because of controversial remarks in April during the Miss USA pageant that marriage should be between a man and a woman.
Who knows what actually happened in that mess. I honestly have no idea who is right and who is wrong. I do know that people should not be fired for having stupid, mean-spirited opinions about things, especially when those things have nothing to do with their jobs. And if her stupid, mean-spirited opinions really are the reason she got fired, she deserves to win that court case. Because this is America, and many people — including, I'm told, her grandfather — died so that people like Carrie Prejean would have the right to hold whatever stupid, mean-spirited opinion that like.
But, then again, she might just be doing it for the money/attention. That's just as likely, really.

Don't you think she is the most beautiful girl in the world? OMG! What about her smile http://www.altawhite.com/?aid=177589
Prejean says she is worried about her reputation?
Hilarious. Does she think her bad r eputation might turn good?
The All American girl, we need more like like her. One question I need to know. Does she spit or swallow,I guess only 'The Donald ` knows for sure.
Stupid and mean-spirited is over the top. That's like saying Pro-Lifers have stupid and mean-spirited opinions. Besides, she's right. Marriage is between one man and one woman. Unions of two women or two men is not a marriage. Sure, give them similar legal footing as marriage, like letting them join the other's health insurance plan, but a marriage is between a man and a woman with the opportunity for them to raise their biological children. Calling gay unions marriage is confusing, unnatural and one step closer to sodom and gamora (sp).
You know, I actually had a genuine moment of "…who?" when I first saw the headline.
I actually FORGOT WHO SHE WAS.
THERE'S HOPE FOR US ALL
