The screaming idiots in those town hall meetings look a whole lot like the screaming idiots who opposed Brown v. Ed., who looked a whole lot like the idiots that wouldn't allow blacks to eat at Woolworth's counter, who looked a whole lot like the gun toting, sheet wearing mobs. I could go on, and on, and on. American monsters have been around a whole helluva lot longer than 8 years. Being dumb and ugly is a proud American tradition.
