Neither funny nor accurate.
The plot totally missed the actual conspirators. You can't be President without being compromised in some fashion. Rich elitists have chosen the President by banking both major parties for decades now.
What is a third party candidate had a similar record. They would be wiped of the slate, no matter how much support they actually had.
The major parties are so crooked and compromised that they refuse to obey the rules and yet use their leverage to make inequitable rules against alternative candidates to prevent true competition and open elections.
What about the fact that McCain was in a similar pickle, yet Congress had a special vote to 'qualify' him without a domestic birth event?
