The Daily Show's First Post-9/11 Show

POSTED BY: Matt Tobey

From The CC Insider

People seemed to respond well when I posted this last year, so I thought I'd do it again. It's the September 20, 2001 episode of The Daily Show in it's entirety. I've never been able to put any meaningful words together about 9/11 and this really isn't the venue for that anyway, so I'll just say I hope you get something out of watching this, be it comfort, enjoyment or simply a welcome distraction.

Continue watching.

  3. Wow. For all that happened after and for all that Jon has been our voice of anger and frustration at G.Bush, Cheney, and the media… this was our voice too. Beautiful, raw, and true. Can't believe I haven't seen this until now. Thanks so much for posting.

  4. What brought tears to my eyes is the number of Americans who signed on to do the same thing to Iraq.
