Glenn Beck Struggles to (Weasel Out of Having to) Explain His "White Culture" Comment
Look, I don't know if Glenn Beck is a racist or not. For all I know, he's just a simple entertainer attempting (and succeeding) to cash in on the racist tendencies of the ugliest aspects of American culture.
But I will say this: It was completely unfair of Katie Couric to use her "gotcha journalism" prowess on Beck, sneak-attacking him by asking him to explain a thing he said and claimed to have discussed at great length on Fox News. Shame on you, Katie Couric!
Beck sure does seem to have sound bites — and how they can be used to distort people's words — on the mind, doesn't he? I wonder why.

I guess if whites had there own cable channel, their own pageant, their own scholarships, their own magazine, their own churches it would be alright to say white cultures. Warped Liberal America at it's best
I guess if whites had their own cable channel, their own pageant, their own scholarships, their own magazine it would be alright to say white culture. Warped liberal America at its finest.
Glenn Beck sukcs giant man boobs.
Sharon Jensen writes:"There is a bigger problem here. Glenn Beck and others are slowly chipping away at what we should be working harder to achieve: a civilized society. One with ethics and morals would be nice"
Isn't Glen Beck the one who champions our founding fathers. Oh I forgot that the founding fathers are evil anti-liberal scum.(sarcasm)
Twisted warped liberal America at its best
the dem and rep must fight till there is nothing left to fight for
we have met the enemy it is us
bring it on
There's no such thing as white culture, jesus christ! There might be Irish culture, Italian culture, and so on, but no such thing as white culture. The same for black culture, there's no definite black culture. DEFINITE which mean it exist.
ok, lynching might be considered white culture, because it's true identity is white. a mix of diff. white cultures came together in American to lynch black people.
Dennis DiClaudio is right! I don't know if Glenn Beck is racist or not either, but when he says something that is blatantly racist… which it was, Katie Couric has no right to ask him why he said it.
I mean why make the man apologize more than once for being a self righteous offensive tard? Shame! Katie Couric Shame!
Look so he pissed off half the country and contributed to a division of the unity of our country. I'm sure at some point Glenn apologized for his statement. Although I wouldn't know because I didn't happen to be watching fox news at any time when he might have. The point is we should all just assume he's a swell guy.
end of discussion
Oh man! He should of just answered it. There's nothing wrong with white culture, he may have been wrong to state that Obama hates it, but there is still nothing wrong with stating that there is a white culture.
I'm a black female in NJ. I've noticed that blacks and whites tend to enjoy different passtimes. That's a cultural thing. There's nothing racist about that. I thought the whole idea was to sort of embrace each other's differences, not attack them. I would be absolutely bored if everyone in the world was all black.
Did Beck mean "white supremacy" instead of "white culture"? If so, then I understand why everyone is in an uproar about it. Otherwise, it makes no sense to be upset.
What Beck means by "white culture:"
Waking up in your suburban bed in you suburban house, saying bye to your wife and 2.3 children, hopping in your SUV, commuting to your white-collar job, working 9-to-5, coming home to food on the table, loving your family and falling asleep watching Letterman.
Now to define what Beck would call "black culture:"
Waking up at 1pm in your inner-city subsidized housing unit, pouring a 40oz on your cereal, slinging crack on the corner, doing fist-bumps with your Crip homies while listening to Jay-Z, smacking that ho you call your baby momma, and passing out from smoking too much weed.
Yes, this whole post is sarcasm. Yes, Glenn Beck is a racist. Either that, or he is the greatest troll the world has ever seen.
