Conservative Candidate Achieves the Impossible in NY-23
When plucky arch-conservative Doug Hoffman — representing Glenn Beck's Tea Party Party –stepped into the race for New York's 23rd district, even though Republican Dede Scozzafava was already running, he was on his way to truly making history.
And, last night, he and all his supporters — including Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Michelle Malkin — achieved what many thought could not be done: They delivered the NY-23 congressional seat into Democratic hands for the first time in more than a century…
Democrat Bill Owens Tuesday won New York's 23rd Congressional District, parts of which have been in Republican hands since the Civil War.
Conservative Doug Hoffman conceded shortly after midnight. With 88 percent of precincts reporting, Owens led Hoffman by nearly 4,300 votes.
What more proof do you need that the politics of divisiveness really does achieve results?

Seriously Tea Party…whoever thought up that stupid name…oh right Fox News. Forgot. But i see this victory as a big slap in the face towards Republicans. They need to learn how to actually win over the people, not alienate them. Oh and run a country.
Woohoo!
They thought they could come in here and remake us in their image, without any regard to who we are and what we value. Screw you, Tea Party, and your national GOP lackeys too. Turns out we're not your playthings. How's that feel? You like that? Suck it up!
