The Pledge of Allegiance Sneaks Up on Rep. Todd Akin at Yesterday's Teabag Rally
Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) has a long, rich history with the Pledge of Allegiance, but let's be honest: you go way back with your girlfriend, and you still forget her name sometimes, right?
I've watched this video several times now and I can't decide if the best part is at the end, when Rep. Akin makes a grunting noise ("wwwrahh") as he realizes his mistake, or if it's a few seconds later, when an unidentified woman yells out "That was awesome, Todd!"
Have the teabaggers discovered sarcasm? Is that possible?
(Via Townhall, which notes that "it's happened to all of us." Fair enough. I'm sure they'd say the same thing if Joe Biden gaffed the words to the Pledge.)

its obvious why he skipped that line, cause he is trying to divide america. didn't you hear his comments about the liberals. it was obviously done on purpose.
Divided we stand, united we fall.
Because "Under God" is more important than remembering "indivisible". How appropriate for the ultra-divisive right-wingers.
