Sarah Palin's Thoughtful Critique of an Imaginary Health Care Bill
Hey, you people cheering about the House vote on health care this weekend — have you read the bill? Have you even read the bill? No, no, no, not the bill the House passed. The other bill, the one Sarah Palin discovered in the feverish crevasse of her imagination.
That bill is absolutely terrible, as Ms. Palin reports via Facebook note…
We've got to hold on to hope, and we've got to fight hard because Congressional action tonight just put America on a path toward an unrecognizable country.
Okay, well, at least she knows we're not headed for Soviet-style health care. (Russia is one of the countries Sarah Palin can recognize.) But the bill Sarah Palin has read is still basically an act of domestic terrorism, as far as Sarah Palin is concerned …
We had been told there were no "death panels" in the bill either. But look closely at the provision mandating bureaucratic panels that will be calling the shots regarding who will receive government health care.
Look closely at provisions addressing illegal aliens' health care coverage too.
Yes, please do look at these provisions. Look closely. I see words like "Subtitle C, Sec. 347. No Federal payment for undocumented aliens" and "Subtitle H, Sec. 1786. Prohibitions on Federal Medicaid and CHIP payment for undocumented aliens." I also see words like "Sec. 1233, Voluntary advance care planning consultation" and "Nothing in this section shall require an individual to consent to restrictions on the amount, duration, or scope of medical benefits an individual is entitled to receive under this title; or encourage the promotion of suicide or assisted suicide."
But, like I said, those words are in the bill the House passed. I haven't read the bill in Sarah Palin's brain, and frankly, I don't think I will. I can't stomach horror movies either.

ha. haha. hahahahahahahahahahahaah hah!hah!hah!
*inhails profusely, slight cough. much bigger cough… for air*
people are so easily mastered… it takes but the meanial of simplicities to sway you from your task. our goals, so small… just as ourselves, though we continue, dubious, overwhelmed, so excited for that which we do not phathom ultimately bringing us all only closer to the inevidible.
Estonishment. At not only the thing that has so taken us- from what it is we desired, but at how truly ignorant we all are. as the collective. to feel admiration, to feel remorse for what it is that has past.
Without us.
Why can't we just care about ourselves anymore? What does the government really do? Why can't the weak, inept, depraved, pathetic people there are be a burden to just those who are desperate enough to have them?
O, wait!!
So sweet not to be hungry. So sad not be well. I've had from the melting pot, and will know nothing better, The taste is fleeting, the memory sours because to have both joy and wisdom you are only knowedgable to the innocent…
to have one give to you who owes you nothing is compassionate, but to keep you in their favor that you'd not care for them, too, is enslavement
You are all hopeless. I'm not sorry though. I'm not sorry for any of you now.
The scariest thing to me is the number of followers she has on facebook. There were about 5,000 comments on there when I looked. This is the only information that these people are bothering to get about the bill, besides Fox News and Rush Limbaugh.
sigh. I think I need some purr therapy.
Much more worrisome to me than Palin herself are her legions of followers, corporate sponsers and the "news" networks, like Fox who carry the heavy water for " Their" candidate, while constantly slamming the Democrats. Think about those millions of americans who've been duped or brainwashed, voting on one, hot-button issue, like abortion or no new taxes. They may someday out number the rest of us and elect a nuclear attacking maniac next time! It feels like our very freedoms are being ripped out by a mob of power hungry billionaires who are manipulating nearly half of the nation! Wow! I aint wavin no flag for the dems either, both parties can be corrupted by lobbiest's campaign contributions, but the red party likes to make their hay blowing things up, like the trillions they stole from us pulling that regime change in the desert. Plus the trillions they stole from us in the bank bail-out! Sorry to break the bad news but… We've all just been swindled in the greatest hiest in the history of mankind. Peace
We'll show you Obama's birth certificate when you show us Palins HS diploma….was said by Bill Maher!!!
Steve et al:
There is a provision in the bill that covers prayer treatment (from a Christian Science practioner for "..as low as $20 a day.."), as an article in the Denver Post pointed out last week. This provision was supported by John Kerry and Ted Kennedy (may he rest in peace). If that's the case, then purr therapy should also be covered. My therapists work hard to minimize the depression and anxiety caused by my unemployment. They are available 24/7 (when they aren't killing mice) Their sessions with me are always effective and there is no possibility of over dose. If a Christian Scientist can get paid, then I should be reimbursed for expenses related to my purr therapists, about $20/month. Thank you for your time and attention. Purringly your, Karen Schramke
Facts are simple and facts are straight
Facts are lazy and facts are late
Facts all come with points of view
Facts don't do what I want them to
Facts just twist the truth around
Facts are living turned inside out
Facts are getting the best of them
Facts are nothing on the face of things
Facts don't stain the furniture
Facts go out and slam the door
Facts are written all over your face
Facts continue to change their shape
Wasn't it Jon Stewart who said, "I'll show you Obama's birth certificate if you show me Palin's high-school diploma"?
Of course Palin is RIght. And all of those annoying scientists who keep telling us that the "man made" effects on climate change just go to show that Palin has a mind of her own and doesn't need Liberal strictures like "facts" to get in the way of what she knows.
The GOP will be well served with Palin as their representative for up-coming elections. She will follow in the footsteps of her recent reps. GWB. So we can all look forward to: wars (with everyone who disagrees with the US), an economy (where only the rich decide), health care (where only the rich decide) and education (where Palin can re-right (sic) the curriculum in her own convoluted manner). Wow… can't wait.
Unfortunately, Palin's imaginary health document will be all that the many illierate republicans will familiarize themselves with.
Presumably that includes Mr Mealer…. 'Bearing Strait', 'nore'?
(Try 'Bering Strait', and 'nor'; better still try reading more. Don't start with the health bill, too many long words).
