Jon Stewart Nails Hannity for Using Wrong Protest Footage
On last night's Daily Show, Jon Stewart pointed out that Sean Hannity has been passing off footage from Glenn Beck's 9/12 rally as footage of a recent health care reform protest. It's certainly troubling. I don't know what to believe about Sean Hannity now. For all we know, his never-ending manipulative, bigoted, nationalistic, disingenuous, opportunistic rabble-rousing was stolen from someone else.
The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11pm / 10c.

Jon, your comedy is more accurate than Fox's News reporting. Now that's funny!! Now the even funnier side. Fox's News reporting is moving closer to your high standard of comedy. Will anyone at Fox admit to that "inadvertant" effect?
I would like to COMMEND the people working at the Daily Show in CATCHING Fox News-the FAKE NEWS CHANNEL-for splicing past footage with current news events, not ONCE but TWICE!! By doing this we now know their TRUE intention in DISTORTING the TRUTH and DECEIVING the American people to see, hear and believe something THAT IS NOT TRUE!!! THANK YOU JON STEWART AND THE DAILY SHOW!!
Thank you Daily Show with Jon Stewart in catching TWICE, Fox News-the FAKE NEWS CHANNEL-with splicing OLD footage from past McCain/Palin rallies and using it as current news footage!! They are absolutely despicable in doing this and should be held accountable for DISTORTING current events and DECEIVING the American People in believing this garbage!! Keep up the good work guys!

It was NOT a "misrepresentation" as you so simplistically and innocently implied. It WAS, however, and attempt to deceive the people watching. This was done to try and legitimize the lies and propaganda the emanates from Fox Noise (Oops! I mean Fox News) everyday.
This was not even a "Press Conference" as Republicans and Fox News referred to it. It was a gathering of hate, convened to spew the lies, that they are trying to pass off as fact, about Health Care Reform. They have done it before and I would be willing to bet they will try it again.
The funniest, or most tragic depending on how you look at it, part of this "Press Conference" is that John Baner showed his ignorance by proving that he didn't know the difference between the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
Why is it not possible to view the on-line videos in the UK, do you think it is too 'high brow' for us to understand, do you think it is too funny for us to get the joke, or is it the UK of what?
Perhaps the truth is you just don't give a shit.
