Outgoing Obama Aide Dunn Lauds Jon Stewart and The Daily Show
Of course we think The Daily Show is the only trustworthy news-source in America, but we work for Comedy Central, so we're hardly objective. We also think South Park should have won the Nobel Prize for Economics, and Just Shoot Me reruns cure rickets. But it turns out we're not the only ones singing the praises of Jon Stewart and the Best Fucking News Team Ever.
At the recent Bloomberg Washington Summit, President Obama's outgoing Communications Director Anita Dunn continued the ridicules of Fox News that marked her time with the administration:
She criticized Fox for using edited footage of a rally to make it appear that opposition to the president’s health-care plan was bigger than it was.
“The people who exposed this: Jon Stewart of the Daily Show on Comedy Central… That’s where you are getting fact-checking and investigative journalism these days.”

I watch fox all the time it's mainly stupid bs but every once in a while, there's little things, (little things) that let you know it's a game. glenn beck is the only person on tv these days that talks about the central bank. the central banks' policies and the Actions of the central bank, he said something about how, (uhhmm) the financial elite THE FINANCIAL ELITE want a north american union. he talked, of an ENDGAME. now, i love, jon Stewart and always have enjoyed the daily show but jon has never (to my knowledge) Spoken of the Federal Reserve (the Central Bank) except for this one time, when he was interviewing Pelosi, they were talking about all these different problems, jon said \But hey, can't we just,.. print the money?\ Pelosi Wagged her finger and said \Ahh ahh no, no, no, YOU KNOW we can't talk about that now\ Beck however has many times, explained that bankers are capitalizing on the mis-forune of all and the centerpiece at the dinner table of debt is the fed. causing this to happen, so our country can collapse, so we can join canada and mexico in the NORTH AMERICAN UNION, So we can join the European Union in the new world order. Now,.. i don't know beck, he's just a talking head on the tube but,… he seems to be talking some uhhhhmmm. Anti-Establishment type shit.

Congrats to Jon on being the hack partisan for the liberal left that he once blamed the Crossfire hosts for being. Fox makes a boneheaded mistake like this and Jon rakes them over the coals. Dan Rather however utterly concots such a fake story that it leads to his being terminated by not having his contract renewed and yet Jon has no problem palling around with him on the show. So much of jouranlistic integrity, right Jon? This type of partisan hackery is exactly why I quit watching Jon so long ago. I was so proud of him when he was on Crossfire. Now he's just another useless partisan hack who is part of the liberal agenda. Way to go Jon.

The "current" government" has only been here for 9 months – so you think the mess we are in was created in only 9 months – what a nitwit. I thought smart people watch The Daily show, I guess I was wrong. At least Anita Dunn is smart enough to peg The Daily Show. It is the only fake news source I take seriously – unlike Fox!
Glenn was was a radio talk show host, then worked for CNN headline news, now Fox. Just google it if you are that annoyed by him, you might better understand him. Glenn Beck is clarity and he exposes the true meaning underlying the madness. The ignorance is in the people who elected and continue to support the current government in power. Wake up!

The Daily Show is meant to be entertainment, it's comedy. I see a lot of comedy in what I would like to call shoddy shockutainment journalism from Fox. Honestly, Fox needs to have it's AP wires pulled, Journalism should be about reporting the truth, and the facts. What we all see from Fox News Network is more like a Howard Stern approach to the headlines.
Fox News Network, isn't much of a news network. The Daily Show pointed out that most of the time it's entertainment. Thier information came right from FOX NEWS NETWORK! What gulls me is how a lot of people think thier oppinion, and I stress oppinion shows are news. These people at the Fox News Network only make things worse in our country by spreading lies, mis-truths, and twisting the public oppinion. The only thing that motivates Fox News Network is money. They get it from ratings, and ignorant people who buy thier books.
Before, Glenn Beck was on TV what was he doing? I had never heard of him, now I wish I had never heard of him. If ignorance is bliss then I hope all of the totally right wing, sheep who watch Fox News enjoy the Bliss they give you.
This is Anita Dunn's little joke. If she meant this seriously she would give The Daily Show a correspondent's desk at the White House Press office, with a first or second row seat in the press briefing room.
