Lou Dobbs, 2012!
The 2012 GOP primaries keep looking hilariouser and hilariouser…
Ex-CNNer Lou Dobbs tells WTOP this morning that he feels "liberated and emancipated" since leaving the network — and he's not ruling out the possibility of running for president in 2012…
"For the first time I'm actually listening to [people who want him to run for office]. … I don't think I have the nature for it. … But we've got to do something for this country."
Oh man, can you even imagine? Dobbs vs. Palin vs. Giuliani vs. Ailes vs. Huckabee vs. Romney? What other ridiculous people can we throw in there? Is Chewbacca planning a run? I think he'd do well in the current Republican climate.

Lou Dobbs is very sensible, rational, and credible.
Yet here you are grouping him in with Palin (a intellectual fly-weight and someone who will be easily manipulated by sophisticated business interests), Rudy "Can I mention sept 11 in my speeches 20 more times for more credibility on the backs of dead Americans" Giuliani, Ailes "Im a fat ignorant asshole who runs a blatantly bias network that commits consumer fraud by claiming to be fair and balanced, but my bank account is swollen", Mike "Chuck Norris is my solution to border patrol issues in the south" and "behind Chuck Norris' chin is another fist" Huckabee, and Romney who I can't remember too much about from the republican leadership campaigns, but I do remember that he stuck me as someone who represented himself well but perhaps wasn't aggressive enough to go farther… or apparently full of enough BS.
Sheesh
Everyone always says "SOMETHING needs to be done!" like their some prophet shouting it at the top of a mountain.

Wayne Allyn Root for president in 2012!
Er… Dobbs is an independent. Obviously the Republican party might be sympathetic with him on most of his views, but Dobbs wouldn't join the GOP. Still, point made.
Except Chewbacca is rather brown. I don't think he could stir up the base.
