Jon Stewart on NY's Gay Marriage Vote
On last night's Daily Show, Jon Stewart reported on this week's vote by the New York State legislature's vote against legalizing gay marriage. However, the mom from Family Ties came out of the closet, so it wasn't the worst week ever for gay people. No, the worst week ever for gay people is planned for next month, when New Jersey will vote against gay marriage and the mom from Family Matters will go into the closet. Brace yourselves.

Whats the big deal with gays getting married?Is it because its looked at as sin? If thats the case then why are atheist and satanist allowed to get married. I'm not gay and I don't neccessarily think thats how God intended it, but certain things are basic human civil rights no matter how you look at it. If you don't think gays should get married, then don't go to a gay wedding. Who the fuck are we to play God and decide which sin is unexceptable to God. Jesus is love(not love to every sinner but gays). We should prabably stop tryig to control everyones household and worry about whats affecting our own lives. God is big eough to deal with the judging by himself.

In Biblical Hebrew, the generic word for sin is het. It means to err, to miss the mark.
Where did you this stuff about babylonion roots of the word sin. The English word "sin" likely has a germanic root.

The word sin was the name of a Babylonian god. It is in fact a very anti-antithetical translation because its pagan and means nothing. And when something is meaningless it can be used for whatever anyone likes. But those people who ran the church were of the Roman government and murderous scum. they murdered anyone who didn't agree with them. The most used Hebrew word for sin in the bible is "Chata" meaning "missing the mark". And when someone is off mark or taking a bad direction, what would a decent person do…? they would give directions. Not push them away and say ewwww your bad, ugly, fat, gay, stinky, as Jesus always hung out with the bad people because he wanted to be a good role model. Not some isolationist "better than you" guy. he never looked down on people!@

The simple reason why having sex with the same sex was bad was two reasons:
1. Because Israel was supposed to stay together while foreign cultures and more powerful armies all around wanted to move in on the fertal planting area… they said all sex was bad so that they wouldn't have a lot of lost children (and could keep the line pure from Adam, to David, to the Messiah). They past their land to their children and kept it in the family strict and Mafia style — get it? They essentially were Jedi knights who swore off random sex in barbarous times for an intellectual life of the spirit (mind). Like it or lump it, sex can compromise your mind and make you do things that are not of your choosing. And true love is FRIENDSHIP! Look at Africa now or China or India for centuries, I don't think over population for thousands of years is a good thing for the people but lets hate christians for keeping us sane all these years. GAY people ARE a PART OF NATURE, but they also are another way of having sex. The only reason to have sex for the Hebrews in a time of NO BIRTH CONTROL or Disease control was to make babies. And so to tell people no sex with women but it's cool to screw another man (per say) would be a little disorganizing… It was just a no sex, no compromise, all mind society!
2. New testament is manipulated by creepy modern Christians: Why is it that every time a christian these days comes out against homosexuality it's because they are having gay sex in bathrooms? IT"S BECAUSE THEY ARE HYPOCRITE AGENTS OF SATAN! Everything sexually is a sin, so why single out one group? So you can hate them? What about the adulterous or why not commit hate crimes on child molesters? What about people who sell bad used cars!! are they not to a greater hurt on society? Why not kill them? Because you guys are sick and Satanic. A christian always helps direct those who are CHATA, "missing the mark" or on the wrong road. but Satan always uses Christ's name to humiliate his children. SO IS GAY BAD THESE DAYS??? Here's the ANSWER!!!!!!!! It is as bad as ANYTHING (any sex) that miss-directs you from perfection of the mind and body, (from being a jedi). It is as bad as regular sex. Yes it does make male relations over complicated when they can't just be friends or soldiers or wrestlers without some elder wanting to F#%# them in the ass, but it is also only as wrong as it HURTS YOU. So does it? should a gay man marry another man? That is a question for modern times because Israel failed and fell apart, and it's between you and God who instructs his children. NOT some scumbag looking to scapegoat children born with gay genetics because he is a pedophile preacher, or a greedy drama major turned "preacher". Just remember those who condemn people to a horrible underworld called "hell" are usually bad people (look up the word hell if you're christian because it's another pagan Norse god name and not the true meaning). Jesus never wanted you to be hypocritical and screw for pleasure while denying it to those who are inclined to be gay. Do we deny a christian football player church membership because he likes to finger Fu#$ cheerleaders? NO but he is still on the wrong path to INNER PEACE, the WAy, The truth, the LIGHT.
