Rachel Maddow Talks to the Man Behind the Man Behind Uganda's Anti-Gay Legislation
I've been meaning to write about this whole American Christian politicians getting Uganda to jail its homosexual citizens and murder its HIV-positive citizens thing for a while now, but somehow I just couldn't find the funny side of a bunch of U.S. congresspeople speaking for America while trying to use an African country as a testing ground for their Christian wonderland fantasies.
At any rate, Rachel Maddow has been covering this on here show, and last night she had a nice long conversation with the "formerly" gay inspiration for hate and murder in the name of Jesus. And it is a terrible thing to witness.

His "theory" reminds me of the stupid broad in Golden CO (right near where I live) who promoted a therapeutic technique called rebirthing (not affiliated with the birthers). Her "professional" take on adolescent and adult survivors of abuse was that they could be cleansed of their dysfunctions by re-enacting their own birth. To do this, the stupid and hopefully still imprisoned idiot broad gathered her followers and they laid on top of/hugged tightly/wrapped in a blanket the client/victim. At least one adolescent was killed (that I know of) by suffocation.
The idiot bitch was was finally put out of business but not before she tried out her approach on several clients.

Richard Cohen is a fraud and a dangerous tool of the religious right. I'm sure he gets his rocks off when he cuddles his gay clients. I'm also pretty certain he's' got a secret life as a gay man.
I would love to run into this asshole in a dark alley and beat the crap out of him. And I could do it too. When I go off my meds I am one mean bitch. Hell, I'm one mean bitch ON my meds.
