• Giuliani Can Hate 'em With the Best of 'em

Don't know if you've noticed, but Rudy Giuliani is kind of a mumbler. Sometimes he says one thing and people mishear him and think he said a whole other thing.

For example, way back in 1994, when he was mayor of New York City, he said something that sounded like

If you come here and you work hard and you happen to be in an undocumented status, you're one of the people who we want in this city. You're somebody that we want to protect, and we want you to get out from under what is often a life of being like a fugitive.

But it turns out that wasn't at all what he said. If you listen really closely, you can tell that it was actually a lot closer to…

If you come here and you work hard and you happen to be in an undocumented status, then fuck you. We don't want your fuckin' kind here. Get the fuck out! If I could come down to the restaurant where you work and pull you out from behind the dishwashing machine by your greasy immigrant hair and send you back to whatever backwater country you came from, I would fuckin' do it in a fuckin' heartbeat. And then I'd pork your sister and deport her illegitimate baby, too.

Wheeww… For a minute there, I was afraid we were in danger of getting some kind of compassionate wussy in the Oval Office.
