• Bush Disapproval Rating Only One Side of the Story

Sure, we all know that George W. Bush's 28% approval rating has failed to bet all time lows set by luminary presidents Harry Truman (22%) and Richard Nixon (24%), but there's one area in which our current president reigns supreme.

According to a new Gallup Poll, Bush's disapproval rating is now at 71% — setting the record for the highest disapproval rating of any modern President.

"No president has ever had a higher disapproval rating in any CNN or Gallup Poll; in fact, this is the first time that any president's disapproval rating has cracked the 70 percent mark," said Keating Holland, CNN's polling director.

Nevertheless, some White House insiders claim that Bush is nevertheless emboldened by a recent favorable review in Apocalypse Magazine which gave his presidency 3 and 1/2 Horsemen.
