Bob Barr More Convincing as Stand-up Comic Than as President

Libertarian presidential candidate, Bob Barr, is a pretty easy comedy target. For one thing, he has a moustache. That's crazy! Also he wears glasses. What is he, a four eyes?!

But now, with the help of comedian Steve Young, Bob Barr is flexing his own comedy muscles…

I mean, a liberal comedy writer and a former conservative congressman who for all intent and purposes seemed to be missing the humor gene, teaming up to create seven minutes of standup nirvana.

Well, maybe not nirvana as in heavenly, but then again not Nirvana as in suicidal rock star career path.

Still, the result was a pretty nifty performance by the present Libertarian Presidential Candidate at a Philadelphia Political Comedy benefit for sick kids.

Barr is so fucking nifty! To his credit, he actually didn't do half bad. I'm sure McCain would be pretty happy if Bob Barr dropped out to pursue his new love of stand-up.
