• Is Joe the Plumber's Refrigerator Running?

At a recent McCain/Palin going-out-of-business sale, a DC-area reporter scored a used Blackberry for $20. And along with it, she got over 50 private phone numbers for politicians, lobbyists and others connected to the campaign.

“Somebody made a mistake,” one owner told us.  “People’s numbers and addresses were supposed to be erased.”

“They should have wiped that stuff out,” another said.  But he added, “Given the way the campaign was run, this is not a surprise.

We called the McCain-Palin campaign, who says, “it was an unfortunate staff error and procedures are being put in place to ensure all information is secure.”

Well, if you ask me, I don't see any error here at all. Have you seen Barack Obama's Blackberry? It pals around with Bill Ayers' Blackberry and wants to meet Iranian Blackberrys without preconditions.

Eh, sorry about that dumb joke. John McCain isn't the only one trying to unload useless shit leftover from the campaign.
