• The Blagojevich Song

I'm just coming back from a week's vacation from work, the news, email, reality and sobriety, so please be patient with me while I reacquaint myself everything that's going on. (It just took me 45 minutes to relearn how to use this typewriterry thing in front of my computer's TV screen thingy.)

So, have you guys heard about all this crazy stuff with Rod Blagojevich? I'm still fuzzy on the details, but I think he got in a lot of trouble for trying to sell Barack Obama's old chair to some preacher guy's son. I don't really understand this whole "ethics" thing, but I don't really see what the big deal is with selling old furniture. Seems to me that it's just another example of the MSM blowing a story out of proportion to sell web pages.

Speaking of lazy segues, here's The Giving Tree Band performing "The Blagojevich Song," which they claim was written "moments after Governor Rod Blagojevich's arrest." Hopefully, this will help clear things up for me…

I'm assuming that the dark, shadowy guy in the background represents the Chicago political machine.

Maybe I should go back and watch it again.
