• Very Gradual Change We Can Believe In

When I'm not writing about politics, I'm usually obsessing over some aspect of evolutionary biology, but I missed my chance to celebrate Darwin Day — celebrating Chuck D's birthday — on the blog last Friday, amidst all the other holidays.

Luckily, though, I didn't miss Darwin Year, which celebrates the 200th anniversary of Char-Dar's birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of Species!

However, this a political blog, not a science blog. So, I'll have to pick and choose my moments when my two favorite subjects intertwine. Like this one

Hopefully, the comparison between the new administration and one of the greatest scientists of modern times will prove to be a positive one. Or at least an improvement.

Really, though, how could it not be?
