Fox News Gets to the Bottom of Science's Anti-Science Agenda
In case you're not quite convinced that mankind evolved from ape-like ancestors, I can hardly imagine better proof than this clip of these two perplexed hominids — Fox News' Steve Doocy and the Discovery Institute's Casey Luskin — grappling with the concept of evolutionary theory and how it should be taught in classrooms.
At one point, I swear, you can almost see something resembling a human-like intelligence in the one primate's eyes. It's quite inspiring…
Pharyngula's P.Z. Myers cuts through Luskin and Doocy's misunderstandings — or, much more likely, outright lies — about the Discovery Institute's goals, biology textbooks and how evolution works in a way I could never touch.
