White House Press Corps Reporter Lifts Question from The Daily Show

A member of the White House Press Corps managed to get a really good question in for Robert Gibbs, concerning about what exactly it means to keep our troops safe. (The question was better than the answer.)

If you think you've heard the crux of that question before, it's because you have… in last night's Daily Show.

Why don't they just have a Daily Show correspondent dedicated to the White House Press Corps and be done with it.

I'm sure Rob Corddry's got the time. And he played the Press Secretary in that George Bush movie, so he's kinda familiar with the deal probably.
