• He Hits Japan; Next Thing You Know, Obama Got Low, Low, Low, Low

Here is the picture that has the blogosphere all a-twitter: it's President Obama bowing as he greets Japan's Emperor Akihito, a known foreigner, during this week's tour of Asia (a known foreign place).

Andrew Malcolm banged out 750+ words on BowGate, covering the history of the Japanese royal family, World War II, MacArthur, and so forth, but he probably could've just left it at this

How low will the new American president go for the world's royalty?

Very, very low, according to the outraged outragers at Power Line

He means to teach Americans to bow before monarchs and tyrants. He embodies the ideological multiculturalism that sets the United States on the same plane as other regimes based on tribal privilege and royal bloodlines. He gives expressive form to the idea that the United States now willingly prostrates itself before the rest of the world. He declares that the United States is a country like any other, only worse, because we have so much for which to apologize.

Jesus Christ, and he does all this using only his waist and torso. Can you even imagine how much treason Barack Obama would be capable of committing if he used his legs and feet, too?
