• Grab a Glass of Milk for the Latest ACORN Scandal

acorn-cookieWhen he's not busy fighting the gays, Iowa Rep. Steve King spends his time fighting the ACORNs, who are just as sneaky and probably even more dangerous because Barack Obama has an actual record of working with them.

Rep. King's anti-ACORN crusade took a surprising, frosted twist at the annual White House Christmas party this week: look there to your right. Look! That is a photograph, taken by Steve King and posted to his Twitter, of an actual cookie served at the White House party. Mm-hmmmm.

Additional images and commentary were fed to Fox News

The chocolate cookies shaped like an acorn were quite a hit [Ed. note: I think they mean the opposite of this, though] with Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa.

"I didn't expect to see such stark symbolism," King said in an e-mail. [...] King pocketed several of the acorn cookies at the White House soiree and even stowed a few at home in his freezer.

So many questions to ponder. Were these the only cookies on the White House dessert table? What were the other choices — Lenin with sprinkles, Santa Mao, a gingerbread gulag?

More importantly, has Rep. King eaten one of these acorn/ACORN cookies? If so, how did they taste? It's hard to tell from a cameraphone picture, but they look a little dry. Clearly, Congress needs to stand up and get answers from the White House. Also the recipe.
