The Daily Show on Health Care Reform Violence
In the wake of last week's passage of the health care reform bill, a lot of good people have come under vicious attack. I'm speaking of course of Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and the tea-partiers who are being blamed for so-called violence against pro-reform lawmakers. But you can't blame good-natured rabble-rousers for their fiery, vitriolic acid-spit rhetoric. After all, the First Amendment may not protect against shouting "fire!" in a crowded movie theater, but I'm pretty sure shouting "shoot that baby-killing satan-fucker before he rapes your grandma!" is within reason.
Anyway, The Daily Show returned last night, and this is what they had to say about the hubbub:
The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11pm / 10c.
