Rep. Hank Johnson Is Understandably Quite Concerned About Guam Maybe Tipping Over and Sinking into the Pacific Ocean
If there's one's one thing that's excellent to know about Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA), it's that he definitely, definitely understands that you cannot capsize an island (like, for instance, Guam) by putting a few thousand extra soldiers on it.
April Fools! He so, so does not understand that…
I like how, for the first minute or so, he's so serious. Asking about the specific dimensions of the island, like he's calculating complicated mathematical equations in his head, and you're thinking, Wow! This guy is getting ready to make a very, very thoughtful point about military proliferation and imperialism from a sociological perspective.
And then it hits the 1:20 mark, and it's like, Whoops! That's not a very, very thoughtful point. That's not a very, very thoughtful point at all!
