Innocent Child Attacked by Evil Killer Corporate Tar Blob

So this is enormously depressing. You’ve heard the stories about little kids playing in the surf and getting coated in tar balls, right?

Well, here is a fun video about that very thing. You have maybe seen it, as it has gone “viral,” as the kids say. Fast-forward to around 2:00 to hear and watch the kid freaking out….

You know, back in the ‘80s, when we would hear tell of hypodermic needles and hospital waste washing up on the Jersey Shore, we had a fun solution to the issue: We wouldn’t go to the beach. I know it's lame to let a little thing like a giant corporate/natural disaster get in the way of letting your children play in a toxic sludge dump, and I'm no parent or anything, but it occurs to me that maybe it's time to find a lake to swim in, moms and dads.
