Quote Unquote: Who Doesn't Love an Anchor Baby?

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on the absurd notion that anybody — least of all a contingent of his own party — would ever want to keep dirty immigrants from pulling the ol' "drop and leave" technique of gaining U.S. citizenship…

"I'm not aware of anybody who's come out for altering the 14th Amendment… [T]he remedy for it is not yet clear. But I am not advocating revisiting the 14th Amendment and I don't think any others have. I think the view is, why don't we take a look at this?"

Yeah, that's all anybody ever wanted to do. Look at the amendment. To admire it's elegantly-crafted prose. The way one would look at the brush strokes of a fine painting or the chiseled masonry of a painstakingly-chiseled border fence.
