Mr. Stewart (and the Rest of The Daily Show) Goes to Washington
For the eighth time since the award-winning fake news program first evolved from an amoebozoa slime mold in the middle Precambrian Era,[citation needed] The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is leaving the liberal comforts of its Manhattan studio and filming a week of shows in another, less un-American, city. This time around, the lucky burg is our nation's capitol and its most-fetid swamp: Washington DC!From Monday, October 25 through Thursday, October 28, "When Grizzlies Attack: The Daily Show Midterm Teapartyganza" will be taped at the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Sidney Harman Hall and air nightly at 11 pm/ 10 c.
(Tickets will be available through The Daily Show's website, not the venue's box office.)Is Washington DC ready to host a bunch of unserious goofballs chattering a a steady stream of ridiculous nonsense before the entire nation? Well, there's a first time for everything.
Update: Tickets for this event are, unfortunately, gone. However, you can sign up on the tickets page to receive email updates on new tickets if and when they become available.
