For the eighth time since the award-winning fake news program first evolved from an amoebozoa slime mold in the middle Precambrian Era, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is leaving the liberal comforts of its Manhattan studio and filming a week of shows in another, less un-American, city. This time around, the lucky burg is our nation's capitol and its most-fetid swamp: Washington DC!
From Monday, October 25 through Thursday, October 28, "When Grizzlies Attack: The Daily Show Midterm Teapartyganza" will be taped at the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Sidney Harman Hall and air nightly at 11 pm/ 10 c.
(Tickets will be available through The Daily Show's website, not the venue's box office.)
Is Washington DC ready to host a bunch of unserious goofballs chattering a a steady stream of ridiculous nonsense before the entire nation? Well, there's a first time for everything.
Update: Tickets for this event are, unfortunately, gone. However, you can sign up on the tickets page to receive email updates on new tickets if and when they become available.
