• GOP Congressional Candidate Is Willing to Consider Violent Revolution

You've really got to admire the temerity of this new breed of Tea Party Republicans. They have a vague idea of what they want and they're not afraid to move heaven and earth to get it.

And if heaven and earth doesn't get the job done, well, there's always assault rifles and hand grenades

Republican congressional candidate Stephen Broden stunned his party Thursday, saying he would not rule out violent overthrow of the government if elections did not produce a change in leadership.

In a rambling exchange during a TV interview, Broden, a South Dallas pastor, said a violent uprising "is not the first option," but it is "on the table." That drew a quick denunciation from the head of the Dallas County GOP, who called the remarks "inappropriate."

Look, he said it's "on the table." It's just one of the many options available should the democratic process not go the way that he prefers. Did anybody ask him what else is on the table? Like, is there maybe a bake-off on the table? Or maybe one of those "pay for a date with a teabag-jihadist" things?
