Stewart and Colbert on the Extension of the Bush Tax Cuts
As you know, President Obama struck a deal with Congressional Republicans this week to extend the Bush tax cuts at all income levels in exchange for an extension of unemployment insurance. And while it might not have been the most financially prudent move in the long run, at least everyone got something out of it, from bleeding-heart liberals to trickle-down conservatives to, perhaps most of all, the running-tally-of-the-national-debt billboard industry.
Stephen Colbert's take can be found below.
The Daily Show and Colbert Report air Monday through Thursday starting at 11pm / 10c.
