So, The Daily Beast somehow got its hands on a collection of outtakes from a photoshoot of some of the incoming freshman congresspeople, and, as it turns out, there's some pretty funny looking* people representing us these days.

But there was one image that really stuck out for me. I kept staring at this one picture of Tennessee Rep. Chuck Fleischmann — probably trying to look like he's staring ahead, over the horizon, toward a better tomorrow — and wondering, Where have I seen this guy before?

And then it hit me. I know where I saw this guy. I know exactly where I saw him…

Hey, wait a minute! Didn't Steve Carell play a freshman congressperson in Evan Almighty? Coincidence? Seems doubtful. I wonder if this is in any way connected with all those dead birds from last week. Hmmmm… Probably.
