The Daily Show and Colbert on the Assault of Anderson Cooper in Egypt
You've no doubt heard by now that the situation in Egypt has gone from relatively peaceful to violent and even deadly this week. As both The Daily Show and Colbert Report discussed last night, even CNN's Anderson Cooper was punched ten times by supporters of Autocratic President Hosni Mubarek. As I understand it, that registers right between Christiane Amanpour's car getting rocked back and forth and Brian Williams getting kneed in the sweets on the State Department's Political Unrest Scale.
More Egypt coverage can be found after the jump.
The Daily Show and Colbert Report air Monday through Thursday starting at 11/10c.
