Why Is the Media So Unfairly Reporting What Michele Bachmann Says?

Can you even believe how everybody is reporting that Michele Bachmann — while speaking to a crowd in New Hampshire, incorrectly said — "You're the state where the shot was heard around the world at Lexington and Concord." Where does the media get off on reporting things that people who want to be President of the United States say?! What nerve.

Clearly, this is all just part of Big Media's plan to take down Bachmann because they're so afraid of her huge conservative brain…

Bachmann, the Tea Party darling who's considering running for president in 2012, acknowledged that she made a mistake when she said (incorrectly) over the weekend that the Revolutionary War started in Concord, N.H., not at Lexington and Concord in nearby Massachusetts, where the revolution actually got underway.

"I made a mistake; I should've said Massachusetts rather than New Hampshire," she said Tuesday. "We all know that there's a double standard in the media."

Exactly! What she clearly meant to tell that New Hampshire crowd was, "You're just next door to the state where the shot was heard around the world at Lexington and Concord." Because nothing gets a crowd more amped up than praising other states in the near vicinity. Classic political technique.
