• Michele Bachmann Officially Considering Possibility of Jumping into the Race to Maybe Run for President

Have you heard the news? Michele Bachmann is this close to announcing that she's considering the possibility of making it official and announcing that she's maybe going to explore the idea of — and don't hold her to anything, okay? — playing with the idea of running for president.

No, this is not old news. Last week, she was spit-balling about brainstorming over the idea of announcing that she's considering the possibility of making it official and announcing that she's maybe going to explore the idea of playing with the idea of running for president.

So, excuse me but, this is real news

CNN has exclusively learned that Rep. Michele Bachmann will form a presidential exploratory committee. The Minnesota Republican plans to file papers for the committee in early June, with an announcement likely around that same time.

But a source close to the congresswoman said that Bachmann could form the exploratory committee even earlier than June so that she could participate in early Republican presidential debates.

"She's been telling everyone early summer," the source told CNN regarding Bachmann's planned June filing and announcement. But the source said that nothing is static.

Hey, I'll grant you, it seems like kind of a brash move on her part. But, you have to under stand, Rep. Bachmann — founder of the House Tea Party Caucus, mind you — is incredibly non-establishment.

She doesn't go in for your run-of-the-mill, inside-the-beltway, political machinations.
