John Boehner Attempts to Sell the Nation on Make-Believe Bill

You have to admire John Boehner's bold sartorial decisions.

Your average Speaker of the House — when filming a vlog in an attempt to sell the public on an unrealistic, symbolic, divisive bill that would add a 28th amendment to the U.S. Constitution if it had any chance at all (which it doesn't) of being put into effect, while the nation waits white-knuckled to see if any compromise can be found in the debt ceiling debates, which Boehner and his party initiated, to keep the United States out of arrears and on safe economic ground — might go with a flat blue tie. Or maybe a red one.

Not Boehner. Pink polka-dot all the way…

Strong choice. Strong strong choice.
