Okay, so Rick Perry might not be the smoothest talker out there in the presidential race. Does a U.S. president really need to internalize complicated political issues well enough to easily express himself in a conversational tone? Is having a working understanding of the policies shaping the world around us really such a big selling point? Does nobody appreciate the ability to look good in a pair of cowboy boots anymore?
