Herman Cain Asked Woman to "Doctor" His "Tea," If You Know What I Mean (and If You Do Please Tell Me Because I Do Not)
Uh oh! Looks like some details about some of Herman Cain's alleged habit of sexual harassment are starting to come to light…On Monday, [Iowa conservative radio host Steve] Deace posted a message on his Facebook page that Cain had "said things to both of my female staffers that at best are professionally awkward if not inappropriate over the last several months."…
"Cain said, 'Darling, do you mind doctoring my tea for me?' " Deace said.
Deace told the Register last month that he believes Cain was talking about adding honey and lemon, but that it was an awkward moment.
Uh… whut?
That's not really the "professionally awkward if not inappropriate" comment, is it? Because as "professionally awkward if not inappropriate" comments go, that one's pretty fucking lame. That's not even as bad as Barack Obama's buzzing cell phone-slash-bionic penis comment from the '08 campaign trail. And that was awful as a "professionally awkward if not inappropriate" comment.
Man, politicians today. Where are their priorities? Seems like the days of halfway decent "professionally awkward if not inappropriate" comments are a thing of the past, doesn't it? Where are they days when U.S. presidents would tell entire crowds full of nubile foreign women that he was a delicious jelly-filled calorie-rich pastry? Or instruct a frustrated nation in techniques for proper dildo usage? Or offer advice for masturbating?
Somebody needs to take this nation firmly in hand and shake it until an appropriately "professionally awkward if not inappropriate" comment emerges.
