• Sarah Palin Praises the Rick Santorum Caboose

Now that the "Cain train" is officially derailed, the Tea Party is looking for another candidate to take the helm. The movement's media conductor, Sarah Palin, hasn't made an official endorsement, but she did recently praise Rick Santorum on Fox News last week, saying

"If voters start shifting gears and deciding they want ideological consistency, then they’re going to start paying attention to say, Rick Santorum."

In the meantime, Santorum is chugging around Iowa tooting his own horn and chanting "I think I can… I think I can… I think I can…" quietly to himself. Unfortunately, his Sunday town hall meeting drew only 11 participants. Considering that he's bringing up the rear in the GOP field,  Santorum should be aggressively trying to get as much recognition as possible. Alas, when asked about Palin's praise, Santorum responded, "I haven't had the courage to ask her for an endorsement, but I may do that soon."

He may want to do that very soon considering the caucus is one month away. In fact, what the hell is he waiting for? Perhaps someone should also remind him that Christmas is coming up so he doesn't forget to buy presents and ends up having to fill his kids' stockings with gifts from coal lobbyists.
