Rick Perry Chased Away by Gays (or, at Least, People Who Don't Sufficiently Dislike Them)
Uh oh. Looks like the gays — and possibly a number of their straight sympathizers — managed to track down Texas Gov. Rick Perry in a small out-of-the-way coffee house in Ames, Iowa. What followed can only be described as an unimaginable carnage of yelling stuff and question asking…
"Why do you hate gay people so much," someone in the audience screamed as Perry wrapped up a campaign stop without taking questions from the audience. "Go back to Texas" another screamed from the back of Cafe Diem coffee shop in Ames…
Perry soon left the coffee shop and was on his way out when a young boy asked if he would give him an autograph. Perry gave him a signature and bolted for his vehicle.
By all accounts, Perry did manage to make it to a safe house free from questions and accountability. But it must have been a truly harrowing experience nonetheless.
Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his campaign staff in this difficult time.
